I would like to make it very clear that affiliate marketing is a real business and not becoming millionaire overnight type of scam. An affiliate marketer must have knowledge about each and every aspect of this business like Selecting a niche idea, building a website, Content writing, Search engine optimization and social media marketing etc. Like any other business, it requires proper planning, implementation, and execution.

Domain name – A domain name is the name of your website. It is the address internet users type in to access your site, instead of entering the numerical IP address. If you don’t have a hosting provider yet, you can get a free domain name with any of the shared hosting packages on BlueHost. If you already have hosting, you can purchase a domain a la cart for as low as $9 per year.
That being said, LinkConnector’s platform looks and feels outdated and is rather clumsily designed. Their dashboard also makes it difficult to find “hot” products or compare conversion rates, leaving affiliates somewhat in the dark about which products to choose. Ironically, despite their low-quality website, they offer some of the best customer service in the affiliate space.
The purpose of this type of marketing is not to shove things down your readers’ throats and hope that they will become so annoyed by your advertisements that they’ll click them.  The purpose is to convince your reader that you are a trustworthy source of information and then to suggest ways they can improve their lives with the products and services offered by your affiliate partners.
Affiliates have the opportunity to increase commissions to up to 50% based on performance. SnapPages teamed up exclusively with ShareASale to run their affiliate program and give access to coupons, deals, creative, newsletters, tracking tools, and issue affiliate checks. Affiliates also have access to their dedicated affiliate team to answer any questions and offer suggestion on how to improve conversion rates.
Always include a call to action at the end of every episode telling your listener what to do next. Is it checking out your show notes on your website? Listening to another episode? Checking out your sales page? Following you on social media? Feel free to switch up your call to action to whatever makes sense with each episode, but always give your listener an action to take next.

Great article Vera. You outlined all major reasons why people fail in affiliate marketing and I completely agree with all of them. I think the main problem is that most affiliate marketers promote products they haven’t tried and don’t believe them to be really worth paying for. They think of money first before providing value. I also agree that ywhen you are just starting online you need to focus on one niche, one website only until you become successful. Jumping from product to product, from niche to niche is not a good start.
High-ticket affiliate marketing means that instead of earning small pocket-change sized commissions, you can earn big commissions. We're talking about a range of roughly $1000 and up to $10,000. Of course, the products are more expensive. In order for you to get a commission of $1,000, then the product must be priced much higher. High-ticket affiliate marketing sounds great, but it would be much harder to sell a product that costs $2500, than a product that costs $100. No doubt about it! If you’re interested in selling high value items like yachts and Rolex’s, high ticket marketing is the best option for you.
Fact is, the vast majority of people fail to do affiliate marketing with success and I showed you some of the most common reasons why above. But people don’t fail because the affiliate business model is for the birds. They fail for internal reasons that lie in their own behavior and mindset. Actually, that’s good, because everyone can change his own behavior and way of thinking, if he really wants.
