Great article Vera. You outlined all major reasons why people fail in affiliate marketing and I completely agree with all of them. I think the main problem is that most affiliate marketers promote products they haven’t tried and don’t believe them to be really worth paying for. They think of money first before providing value. I also agree that ywhen you are just starting online you need to focus on one niche, one website only until you become successful. Jumping from product to product, from niche to niche is not a good start.

There are multiple ways to go about content creation, from products reviews and how-to posts. Another way to organically reach the right audience is to create an engaging blog that addresses news, updates, and fixes about the industry where your product fits. Customers looking for industry-specific news are more likely to stumble upon your website and hence catch a look at your products as well.
Once you get your basic website set up, your affiliates all arranged, and you start producing content that other people might want to see, it’s time to learn how to market yourself so that people will start visiting your site and finding out what you have to offer. If it’s good, word of mouth will bring others to see your website, and that (along with more marketing and SEO) will slowly but surely grow your audience. If I could extend one single tip on how to be successful in affiliate marketing, it’s to embrace trial and error and to study what works and what doesn’t before deciding if this is the route for you. From the start, monitor your statistics and see what’s working for you and what’s not, and use this information to continue to market your products in the future.
If you’re struggling to think of a topic, chances are, you’ve not defined your goals properly. Be sure that you have a real reason to write long-form content. Stick to the goal-before-topic rule to avoid going wrong. You’re looking to encourage the outcome you’re looking for. Think about the sorts of topics that will reach your audience and make them respond.
